Top 3 uses of Cassia

Thursday, June 7, 2018

Cassia is one of my favorite essential oil scents. I love adding Cassia to my perfume blends. Check out our top three uses of this oil below:

Use number one: flavoring. It is no surprise this would be my first use as I have been cooking with as many oils as I can. This is like cinnamon plus so be careful and start off slow. Try it the next time you make an apple pie and after I write this I am going to go make oatmeal cookies with it! Cassia is an intense and bold spice guaranteed to make a new dish out of an old recipe.

Use number two: Antiseptic. Cassia has antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral properties that make it perfect for a wide variety of blends. Add it to your surface cleaners to disinfect and add a cheery aroma. Add a drop when oil pulling to help with cleaning and flavor. Excellent for mouth washes and toothpastes as well.

Use number three: Perfume. Cassia oil is the oil of self-assurance, so its sweet and spicy smell is a welcome addition to any scent. Its intense scent incites intense emotions that makes Cassia the cologne of confidence. So the next time you make a bolder blend don’t forget Cassia
