Good morning friends!

This was a really busy week. It was packed full of friends, fun, good food, and new projects on the blog!

Robert continues to pursue his passion of sharing recipes with our friends and family. Using (100% organic/pure) essential oils in our food is an amazing way to have super fresh flavor and we reap the health benefits as well. Check out his latest episode of Recipes with Rob.

I heard this quote in a podcast this week. It hit me really hard. The thing is I have never been able to see the exact path that my life would take. It is amazing to think of how different my life path looks than what I thought it should look like. I am working to release my expectation of what my path should look like and instead focusing on enjoying the journey! What do you think?

This weekend our little brother decided to spend some time with us. We played video games, watched super hero shows, and he helped me with blog work (and surprisingly loved it). Today we took him to see the Incredibles 2 in our favorite cinema. Its so nice that he lives in this amazing city and we can spend time with him whenever we want!

I was flipping through photos and came across this one of our trip to the Getty Villa, we will share more about that in a later post. When my dear friend first took this picture I didn't like it because I thought I looked larger than I wanted to look. However, when looking at it again I see something different. I see a girl who is working towards her goals and a man who is proud to support her no matter what her size is. I decided to share this photo with my thoughts on Instagram and you all were very supportive! 💓
"my baby loves me just the way that I am" 💏 Sometimes I wonder what on earth I've done right to land such a sweet, generous, beautiful man. After ten years he is still firmly by my side through all of my ups and downs. 💏 I have lived in a pretty constant state of transformation since we met. First trying to figure out who I was, then detoxing from several medications/transitioning to holistic remedies only, now living with a lifelong diagnosis of PCOS and the mental/physical change of losing over 100 pounds. 💏 Whatever change I have gone through he has been right there. Cheering me on and wiping my tears... even telling me to slow down and rest. He loved me at my biggest weight and he will love me when I've hit my goal of losing 200. 💏 He is so constant. When my favorite food changes and my taste in music shifts he is still listening to the same Roman History podcast and his favorite meal is still plain broccoli and steak. When I ask him how he knows he will love me forever he says: "I know what I like." And I believe him. 💏 From the moment we met I felt like I had known him before. Like he was meant to be a part of my life. I know I don't say it enough but this man is my sunshine and I am thankful for his light. 💓
