Tuesday, June 19, 2018

Sandalwoods are medium-sized hemiparasitic trees, and part of the same botanical family as European mistletoe. We steam distil the oil from the wood of the tree. Sandalwoods are found all over the world and have various spiritual and medicinal uses. The wood is valued for its ability to hold its scent for a long time, this same property is found in the oil making for a potent and long-lasting and potent perfume.
Some of the most popular uses of Sandalwood are:
Meditation, Skincare, Dandruff, Insomnia, Cramps.
Sandalwoods pleasing scent and exceptional skin care qualities make it the perfect addition to any type of lotion to heal and nourish the skin. Any blend meant for your bath and beauty products will benefit from the addition of Sandalwood. Add it to your shampoo and conditioner to help fight dandruff, or put it in a lotion to help fight dry skin. Its potent and enduring properties make it a must have for an effective deodorant.

Sandalwood is definitely an oil reminiscent of the hippie movement. Its calming and relaxing smell guaranties you will find this oil in many spiritual and religious settings. A few drops in in your diffuser will make your home feel more like the yoga studio than your living room. If yoga is not your style a few drops in your bath bomb will have you feeling like your floating on cloud 9 in no time. However you need to relax,  enhance the mood with Sandalwood aroma.
